Does the color of a car have an effect on anything?
What experiences have you had that were caused by the color of your car?
or
Is the color meaningless (and why)?

I used to believe what you said...
I haven't had any experiences with a particular color vehicle, but to answer your question in your title, yes, I believe the color of your car does have "an effect" on some things. Black cars in a hot climate will remain warmer inside than a light colored car. I also think that drving a neon yellow, bright red, or funky colored sports car is bound to get you noticed by the police if you're speeding, more than a standard color car
-------------------------
...about bright red
but it's very important to include that part about "sports car".
Cops, in my opinion, look at the whole picture.
A 10 year old red Corolla is probably not going to get many hassles.
However, you know they're waiting for that red Corvette convertible.
Bright colors are just more visible.

White Cars...
I selected white for my current car for the simple reason that I plan on keeping it for many years, and when while fades, it's still, well, WHITE! Boring, I know, but I think I'll be happy in the long run. Red fades so terribly unless you keep your car garaged, as do most of the darker colors.
-------------------------
A solid, white car
with dark tints, shiny chrome wheels and nice tires
is actually a very clean, crisp look.
Sweeten the look with a colorful vanity plate
and you're golden.

RE - The color of the car does matter.
Dark colors cars absorb heat like Black!
Light colors cars reflect heat like White!
Birds seem to target black cars more with there dropings!
Dirt seem to show up more on white cars!
The solution to what to ride in to avoid all this problem is to take the BUS!!!
-------------------------
If I could take the bus do you know how much extra money I would have a month...
500 note
150 insurance
280 SUV gas if I don't go far 70 per fill up
500 time spent in traffic
= 1430
Taking the bus priceless
-------------------------
I'm lost...
Where does the color of the car fit into your formula?

Somebody said...
...dark green is a safe color if you want to blend in.
I don't know why... green's not that common.
