How do you use Duct Tape?
Tell us your inventive and creative ideas
on how to use Duct Tape.

I keep a roll in my car.
I actually Duct Tape my Duct Tape to the top of my dash.
It makes a great holder for my soda can (you know... soda spelled B-E-E-R, Wink [;)])

Once I used duct tape to hold my drivers side mirror to hold on to the car cur I was going through a bank teller drive through and that stupid lane was so narrow that a pole took off my mirror. so I pulled into a parking and asked someone if they had some tape so I could tape it back into place and he did so I quess your not the only one wh keeps duct tape in your car

When my kids were little, they discovered how to take off their diapers.  A few strips of duct tape across the front of the diaper did the trick.  Smile [:)]

When we camp,
my 2 teenagers can't stand picnic tables ("ewww, icky")
so they duct tape big plastic bags to the table.
It works great as a tablecloth for a couple days.
It's easy to wipe clean and doesn't blow around.

RE -
My Girlfriend uses it as sort of a 'tough guy' version of the Nerdy Taped Specs look.. she wears corrective glasses and when ever she damages a pair she uses thin Duct Tape strips to repair them and instead of looking like a goofy poindexter(sp) she looks like.. I dunno.. like a Biker or a Trucker or.. something that's not goofy.

(Don't tell her.. she thinks I think it's cool beans but it's just as goofy.)

And I used to also use Duct Tape on against my over affectionate Cat because no matter how many times I help his bumm off my PC desk he insists that not only must he be right in front of my face just looking at me.. he also has to sit right on my spacebar or right in front of it blocking my keyboard and complaining like he has it rough.. so when he doesn't get the hint I stream a thin piece of bright pink Duct Tape from his tail and watch as he attacks it until he finally gets it off only to have it alternate sticking to the other paw.. over and over..

(You could also just do this to have a little entertainment as you drink your soda spelled B-E-E-R =D)

Trust me,
we could start another long thread of
ways to entertain ourselves when we're drinking "soda"

I Duct Taped Duct Tape...
Duct Tape was coming off of a previously patched project,
so, I used more Duct Tape to hold it down.

DUCT TAPE
ONE GOOD WAY TO USE DUCT TAPE IS FOR SHARP GLASS THAT MAY HAVE FELL ON THE CARPET. ITS MOST USEFULL TO GET THE VERY HARD TO SEE PEICES THAT TEND TO BE THE ONES THAT GET STUCK IN YOUR FOOT. ALSO, ANOTHER GOOD USE FOR DUCT TAPE IS BY SEALING PIPES THAT ARE WATER TIGHT DUE TO THE ELASTICITY OF DUCT TAPE.
